We’re curating a comprehensive, unbiased record of every incredible and chaotic moment in digital asset history from the Bitcoin whitepaper in 2008 to now, and onward.
This will include everything from Bitcoin’s origins, to crypto art, NFTs, memecoins, DeFi, and every strange, beautiful moment in between.
To ensure absolute permanence, we are going to put this entire text on-chain on ETH. It’ll be like a traditional history textbook, forever inscribed into the blockchain.
In addition to that, we will also be producing The Digital Asset History Book as a physical coffee-table book.
This will be a flagship book for THE DAM: equal parts archive, art piece, and time capsule.
This first-of-its-kind history book for digital assets is a permanent record of this entire era, told through the lens of the artists, builders, and communities who’ve shaped it.
Once fully shipped, it will be available in both physical and digital collectible formats, the book will serve as an artifact and educational resource. Proceeds will directly support the museum’s preservation efforts.
We project The Digital Asset History Book will account for roughly 10–15% of THE DAM’s yearly revenue.
