This space was built mostly by people who connected online – whether on crypto-twitter, through obscure discord servers, telegram chats, or some other random place. They got together – many of them entirely anon – to build something incredibly cool that was either funny, or silly, or useful, or had epic utility.
That energy, that spark of complete anon’s with profile pictures collaborating together online, building what would become real-life empires together from their computers and phones… That culture is what we’re preserving and amplifying at THE DAM.
Community is at the foundation of digital asset history. Every moment worth remembering came from people showing up for each other and building from there.
We’ve designed THE DAM as a place where that energy continues. Where communities can take over the space, host events, engage their collectors, throw surreal parties, and show the world what makes them unique. Where creators, builders, developers, artists, and collectors can all plug in and put their puzzle pieces together to form something dope.
But community building isn’t solely IRL. We’re also collaborating online globally, to make sure what we’re doing IRL is deeply connected to what’s happening online. Whether someone is walking into THE DAM in St. Pete, or joining a late-night Twitter Space from across the world, it doesn’t matter. If they’re present, they’re playing a part in building with us.
THE DAM is a rally point for degens, builders, artists, and creators in Web3. It’s a lighthouse for our space.
We built it to unite the people who made this movement real in the first place, and to inspire & encourage millions more over the next 100 years to join in and be a part, to play their unique role in it all.
